    I watched the first half. Dallas certainly played "well" enough to lose it but San Fran wasn't exactly a shining beacon of football aptitude either. They were very sloppy. I realize it's only week 1 but they were "contendahs" last year and they did not have much turnover in the offseason. I was expecting a better showing than that. If they don't clean it up, they are heading to an 8-8 record and maybe a wildcard spot.

    Dallas...yeah. Romo had back surgery 8 months ago, 16 months after he got a 6 year contract extension and a bajillion dollars. Now I hear rumors that he might need another surgery before the season is out. It could end his career. His contract is guaranteed. Dallas got ripped off, even if Romo stayed healthy, they got ripped off.

    Also I saw that Jerry wanted to draft Manziel which while he's over-hyped, would have been the smartest move he's made in 20 years. His moron son ripped the draft card from his hand and wouldn't let him do it.

    The older Jones gets and the more arrogant his kid gets the more they need to just step aside and exercise the check writing hand and nothing else. Jones was pretty good with managing talent when he first started with Jimmy Johnson. Even with Switzer, The Big Tuna and Wade too. But he's totally lost anymore and nobody on his staff is capable of fulfilling the role. Dallas is gonna be bad for a while. They need to start trading off their early draft picks and getting players that they can rebuild the team around.

    The 'Skins sucked too but the Iggles were a poo show as well. They shouldn't have won that game. It was almost like Jacksonville gave up.

    But Denver. Now that they have a defense to speak of, they are the team to beat in the AFC this year. Especially now that they have their defensive line bolstered with some new secondary acquisitions and the signing of Demarcus Ware.

    So The Dallas Cowboys are America's team, just not Dallas' team. I've lived here my whole life and have always been a hater especially when they were good, grew up being a 49ers fan so you can imagine how my childhood went living here in Dallas. I'm probably more a Cowboys fan now than I've ever been, but maybe that's just because I don't have to worry about them knocking my 49ers out of the playoffs...

    For whatever reason, the game was broadcast in Spanish, at least on my TV. I couldn't find any setting to enable some type of alternate language if available.
