Careful there, Mark! You're starting to remind me of a leather-jacketed Derrida--seamless and incapable of being held between the "covers" of ONE book?

Well, Panasonic was never a proponent of the SACD format. Panasonic backed DVD-Audio....remember the format war?

I suppose Panasonic could jump ship if it wants to....especially when it looks like SACD will be having its biggest year (in terms of new releases) this year.

I own 2 of these Technics SUV-909s these are the Euro version these Amps have powered many a speaker still have them got them while stationed in Germany these were great integrated amps in there day. I still use one of them the other is at the cabin up north. I love the classic Technics stuff hope they continue in that tradition and not in the tradition of there late 80s early 90s stuff.

The important point here is that companies are starting to realize they made a big mistake killing their high-end audio lines. This is good for all of us.
