Carver M1.0t modded amp

For sale is my M1.0t fully restored & modded amp. It has been upgraded to a MKII opt002 by a member of TheCarverSite repair team. This means its been gone through and repaired, all service bulletins applied, as well as some additional modifications which are detailed here. This amp should be good for years to come.

The modifications increase the power by a fair margin so its spec's are now:

8 ohms 460 watts < 0.15% THD - stock is 200
4 ohms 510 watts < 0.15% THD - stock is 400

At Clipping
8 ohms 500 watts - stock is 350
4 ohms 555 watts - stock is 500

Dynamic
8 ohms 700 watts - stock is 550
4 ohms 1000 watts - stock is 832
2 ohms 1290 watts - stock is 928

In addition to THOSE modifications, I had the following done, all RED lights (except the top) replaced with white LED's, new binding posts added so it now accepts spades & banana's, and a IEC plug added so you can roll powercords.

This amp has a lifetime warranty from TheCarverSite Repair team which means, they will repair the amp with no labor charge. IE you pay shipping costs both ways and any parts costs, but no labor charges.

The ONLY issue with this amp is that the faceplate does have some marks/nicks on it, the photo's show those. Beyond that this amp is in a fully restored condition.

Pictures of the amp are below. I am asking 625 shipped via PayPal gift. Shipping to CONUS ONLY - (sorry Canuk's & Hawaii/Alaska, its just to expensive to ship to you). The normal Carver M1.0t MKII opt002 costs 650 + shipping, and then a delay until your unit is ready, so save yourself a few bucks & some time on a fully restored and modded amp, and buy this one.

I cant really go any lower on this amp as I am already taking a hit on it. I am going to use this money to consolidate my setup and buy one big 5 channel amp.

This amp will ship directly from the CarverRepairTeam to you.

I am happy to answer any questions via PM.

Stock amp pictures as it originally arrived.

Carverfest is a bunch of the guys from the Carver Audio Forums meeting up in the mountains in North Carolina to hang out, listen to tunes and sometimes build custom one of a kind things like Bob Carver 20 watt tube amps, this year a linestage to go with it designed by a forum member, etc....

And the man himself normally shows up to hang out and rub shoulders with em.

It looks like fun and its a great way to see new stuff before its out.

They had a set of his Carver Linesource speakers on demo a year + before they came to market......
