Connecting 2 subwoofers with a 5.1 AVR

Hello,
My questions is basically the "Discussion Title" in question form.
I have a Denon AVR e300 avr (5.1 channel) and a Dayton Audio SUB-1000, using mediabridge subwoofer cable, and splitter to left/right RCA. Other speakers don't really matter, but they are pioneer towers (A. jones series) and B652 surround (avr has all speakers set to small, in my bedroom set-up - I didn't need expensive surrounds, so I went the the B652s).
I am curious if I can use the high level inputs/outputs to connect another sub (just assume the 2nd sub is another SUB-1000 to make things simple)
I didn't state the manufacturer of the B652s because if you do not know or own a pair, you are missing out.

The reason I am posting this home theater question in the polk forums, is because my car audio is 100% polk - I have the DB series in my truck, which is amazing for the price. Got majority of it on sale at frys electronics.

At one time I had two subs connected to my 7.1 channel AVR. I connected a splitter to the "sub out" on the AVR and ran a subwoofer cable to each LFE input on each sub.

I have 2 subs connected to the 5.1 AVR in my sig. I use a splitter from the sub out, connecting one RCA to the right sub and the other to the left sub.Main System:

Since you already have a splitter in line, simply unplug one from the one sub and run to the other subs input. You do not need both left and right inputs connected to each sub, one is fine....doesn't matter left or right.HT SYSTEM-
