Chromebook 2

I snagged a Chromebook 2 today and after using an older Chromebook, this new one is much nicer.... it has HD 1920x1280 graphics and is very fast. The upscale model with the 13.3 model is thin and light and less than half the cost of a MAC air. The MAC air has superior processing power but it requires much more because of the OS and apps.

My old Chromebook served me well and needs to be sent out to have the power port replaced. Other than that it still works fine. I'll do it and hand it down to somebody else to use.

I like the Chromebook over a tablet as I can surf with it just fine and I also use it for editing photos (using free Pixlr editor app from the playstore). I prefer to use a keyboard and touchscreens are always dirty. I have 2 business laptops and a desktop as well but use the Chromebook for browsing and travel and stuff.

Nice to see I'm not the only one with a Chromebook. That's all I use now. It does everything I need and more. Sometimes less is better. Here's a link to the Google product forums for Chromebooks. There's a lot of the same questions repeated over and over. So many new owners of Chromebooks not doing their research.

I could live with a Chromebook very light and boots up in like <10 seconds... updates take very little time...so convenient. But for work I need to use a Corporate Laptop...This new one has a great display too. I'll check out the link... Thanks Larry!
