carver m-400 cube repairs or parts?

A friend of mine has a pair of carver m-400 cube amps that are in need of repair, just wondering if anybody knows how to fix these or get parts, he also said that he might be open to selling these for parts if he cant find someone to repair these.

    First of all, what's wrong with them, and did anything happen when they 'died'.

    Could be any easy fix.

    I will try and get some details from him, all i know is he tried to get repaired localy years ago and the guy told him he coulnt get parts? So he packed them away and forgot about them until he found them recently while moving.He said they are great sounding amps when they worked and has always been a carver fan and would like to get repaired if possible.

    I spoke to my buddy about the amps and he said one of them when you power it up it goes full blast no volume control? The other one is missing one channel.

    I'm not being a smartass, but if he is really interested in getting these repaired, this is what I'd do.

    You can give descriptions of the problems, and 12 people will have 12 answers. Unless you have the schematics and access to the necessary parts, you won't be able to fix it like the people who built it.

    Cool. Their CS dept. is pretty cool. I have dealt with them personally and can vouch for that.
