Been looking at these for some time and have my eye on one... If I can score it for a good price, I would then be interested in a p5 pre, and a couple of balanced connections... I would then be thinking about getting rid of my M80, the 2100 pre and the musical surroundings phono pre. I realy wanted an A21, but they are going for MAD money and even used are a bit scarce/pricey for now. I will think about driving the SDA SRS2.3's or the LSIM703's. Does anybody have the P5? and how do they like the phono input?

    The phono on the P3 was good, but not as good as my PS Audio GCPH. Don't know if that helps you or not.

    I recently got a Parasound amp off eBay for the Bedroom system and monitor 10's. I have been looking for something newer to replace the Hafler on my 3.1's. The bigger Parasound's seem kind of scarce. If you get it I'll be looking out for you thoughts on this amp and any other suggestions for a more modern amp to power the big SDA's.
    HT/2Channel: Emotiva MMC-1, Adcom GFA-555II, Polk SDA 3.1's, Teac TN-300 TT, Polk Center and Sub.

    Bedroom system: Carver CT-24, Parasound HCA-800II, Monitor 10's

    I had a 2200ii. Nice amp, plenty of guts to drive anything. At this age, don't be surprised if it needs a refresh of the low level power supply caps. I had mine back around 2007-8 and it had some hum, worse in one channel, but present in both. $15-$20 in small value caps and it was like new. I think I had a write-up back when I did it.
