Finally getting the hang of this unit and thought to share a little. I can't compare it to anything else so all I can say is that it is very easy to use. I got the help in hooking it up from member deron1b and from there I was hearing Pandora on a new level. It does upscale the signal, but now that westmassguy (David S) has set me up with an amazing external hard drive, I have 400 CD's loaded (all in FLAC) and the Pandora listening is over. I am able to load as many CD's as I want to the Queue and it plays them in order without touching a thing. My cell phone has the app downloaded to where I can control it from anywhere in the house, (nice feature) and I couldn't ask for more. Not sure if any other members have this one (I know a few people have the other Cambridge units) and I'm sure they all perform close to the same as the Stream Magic 6. I'd say if you're looking for something along this line, you too will be happy with it. Even added the SM app to my wifes phone so now she can turn me down when she wants to yell at me!! lol Thanks Deron and David, it's been a gas getting this major part of the system up and running and you both sure made it smooth to do so!

I know...right?? I have tamed my quest for volume down a bit as the new system just shines at a medium level and I am now paying attention to detail in songs I have heard for years, but now feel like I am hearing many of them for the first time, The quality I am hearing is so mindblowing that I don't seem to care how loud it is...strange coming from an old school drummer!

I have a guy dropping off 3 cases of "old school" r&b/funk&jazz CD's today, so you know I'll be a busy "ripper" for the next few days. I also figured out the shuffle feature in the phone app, so once I get a ton of my favorite (and I have a ton of fav's) loaded into the queue, it's an amazing sounding radio with no commercials!! I'm sure a lot you already do this, but it's all new to me and I'm saying bye bye to Pandora and don't think I'll miss it one bit!
