Polk M-5 speakers

Folks I'm new to this board and sorry for asking help as my first post. Recently we moved into a house that is surrounded with Polk speakers inside and out). All but two are mounted in the wall or ceilings. There are, what I have identified via searches, two inside wall mounted M-5's. I need to move and remount both. At this point I cannot finding anything that provided removal directions. I'm at a point to where the only alternative may be to literally yank them of the wall which I don't want to do. Any help is welcomed.
Thanks
Joe

Welcome!
M-5 as monitor 5 or it's another in - wall model?
Usually, in - wall speakers have a cover with grill that can be pulled out to reveal actual driver bracket/baffle with screws.
Got a picture?

I'll post a picture. It's the M-5 loud speaker on-wall mounted.

Here's a link to the stock pic from Polk. The problem is removing them from the mounting device which is not pictured.

Hello,
The M5 can be a little tricky to remove from their bracket, but with a little care it can be done. The speaker is attached to the wall bracket with two "golf tee" shaped pins. It is very important to not try and pry the two pins out, but rather push the pins out from the inside. If you try and pry them out, as you would a nail, the caps will break off and I don't believe Polk has any replacements. You want to position the speakers so you can see the ends of the pins, and use a large flat blade screwdriver to push against the base of the pin from the inside.
Keep in mind the plastic will be on the brittle side so go slowly.
