Help hooking up LC80i-IP, need powersupply or bypass

My old home theater setup was LSi15 mains, LSiC center, and LSi9 as surrounds run off a 5 channel Parasound 2205 amplifier. I just moved and the new theater area would require putting the surround speakers directly next to your head which I think would be unacceptable... or doing something in-ceiling which is already prewired to some poor quality speakers. So I went ahead and found some used LC80i-IPs hoping I could use them in ceiling as they are timbre matched to my LSi setup. I was hoping there would be an easy way to bypass the amplifier on the LC80i-IP speakers and just wire them with speaker wires to my old amplifier. It looks like I was wrong- the crossovers are in the amp? So is there a way to hook up to my existing amplifier? There doesn't seem to be a ton of info out there on these speakers. The FAQ http://www.polkaudio.com/polk-university/faq/ip-speakers-faq-for-dealers-and-installers indicates it can be done with 'matching transformers' and the cutsheet http://www.polkaudio.com/downloads/manual/LCi265_80ipCutsheet.pdf mentions the PAC SNI-35 speaker-level-to-line-level transformer. I guess that could would work, but limits at 50 watts (with my amplifier doing 300w). And does that then mean I don't need a power supply to the amplifier (if I still need a power supply that would be pointless as I can certainly just pull RCA's and avoid the transformer).

I would also be fine running the LC80i-IP analog with the RCA input using a power supply to the amplifier, but I don't see anyone selling the SPS-1 power supply. Any other power supply options that I could make work?
