Getting the most out of my speakers

I've had my first setup for almost a year now. I am starting to wonder how much of an upgrade could I do to my reciever, and would it be worth it? Right now I have
2 Polk 75t front
2 Polk 45b surround
1 Polk 25c center
1 Polk psw10 sub
Yamaha rx-v375
How much better could I power my speakers? And would there be a substantial gain? I use my system for gaming and movies.
Thank you.

Welcome to Club Polk!
The weaknesses in your system are the entry level AVR and the PSW10 for now.
A bigger better sub would give you the most "immediate" improvement!
After that. Your towers could use a LOT more power, so you should invest in an AVR that has pre-outs for an external power amp next. That means AVRs above the $500 price point, in many cases!
Eventually you might want to add a power amp of 200 watts or more per channel for your front two or three speakers. And, down the road, you'll probably upgrade the speakers as well, but let's not get carried away for now!

Yea, my first thought if he uses primarily for gaming and movies that the sub may be the first upgrade.2 ChannelTurntable - VPI Classic 2/Ortofon 2M BlueAmplification - Rogue Audio Cronus Magnum II, Parks Audio Budgie PhonoSpeakers - GoldenEar Triton 17.2 Home TheaterDenon AVR-X3300W; Rotel RMB-1066; Klipsch RP-280F's, Klipsch RP-450C, Polk FXi3's, Polk RC60i; Dual SVS PB 2000's; BenQ HT2050; Elite Screens 120"Man CaveTurntable - Pro-Ject 2.9 Wood/Grado GoldAmplification - Dared SL2000a, McCormack DNA 0.5 DeluxeCD: Cambridge AudioSpeakers - Wharfedale Linton 85th Anniversary; LSiM 703; SDA 2A

+1 to replies 3&4. Further, I believe you can't have an excess of QUALITY* power especially for your LCR & sub - quality being the key operative.
I've experienced "raw power" in spades. Initially impressive, but when I upped the quality factor while being less anal about the "numbers," only then did I realize magic!
