As posted previously i am in the process of rebuilding cabinets for my SDA SRS 1.2tl speakers (cabinet lost in flood). I have been trying to get the cabinet specification but no luck to date. If possible could someone how owns a pair please measure the following measurements on their speaker and post finding on this thread. I live in Australia but can convert inches to millimetres.

Refer attached drawing for measurement requirements.

A = Top of speaker to top of mid driver
B = Top of speaker to top of treble driver
C = Side of speaker to side of mid driver
D = Side of speaker to side of crossover plate
E = Bottom of speaker to bottom of crossover plate
F = Side of speaker to side of bass driver
G = Bottom of speaker to bottom of bass driver
H = Bottom of speaker to bottom of mid driver

This would be most helpful. Thank you.Polk SDA SRS 1.2tl.pdf

    Ok, I will do my good deed for the day!

    My speakers are a late run (1992) SDA-SRS 1.2tl. The total height of the cabinet, not including the feet, is 63 3/4". My end caps are a little thicker than those used on earlier models. They are 1 1/8" thick. The measurements below do not include the end caps, since they are not part of the internal volume. The internal cabinet is 61.5" tall and 20" wide, since the 3/4" side panels are detachable.

    A = Top of speaker to top of mid driver - 2"
    B = Top of speaker to top of treble driver - very close to 6"
    C = Side of speaker to side of mid driver - 1 7/16" (my cabinets are not perfectly symmetrical, one side is closer to 1 3/8")
    D = Side of speaker to side of crossover plate - 2 1/4"
    E = Bottom of speaker to bottom of crossover plate - 22"
    F = Side of speaker to side of bass driver 2 3/8"
    G = Bottom of speaker to bottom of bass driver - very close to 4"
    H = Bottom of speaker to bottom of mid driver - 2 3/4"

    It would be great if someone else can confirm these numbers.

    Hope this helps,
    Brian

    It's a rainy day here in Ct. so I went and measured my 1.2tl's. The measurements do not include the side panels or the end caps so I could get a more accurate measurement A. 2" B. 5 15/16" C.1 7/16" D.2 1/4" E. 21 15/16" F. 2 1/2" G. 4" H. 30 11/16". Good luck to you and I hope this helps

    I should also mention that while the cabinet is 13 1/8" deep, you should subtract 3/4" + some overhang from that for the grill. So, the actual cabinet used for determining the internal volume is 61.5" x 20" x 12 1/4".

    Woops; Looks as though I was a few minutes late with my tape measure. At least our measurements are very close except for the last one; H.

    My fault on H. 2 3/4" is the distance between the bottom of the lowest driver and the top of the crossover panel. H, as originally specified, should be 30 3/4".

    A = 2 in
    B = 6 in
    C = 1 ½ in
    D = 2 ¼ in
    E = 22 in
    F = 2 3/8 in
    G = 4 in
    H = 30 ¾ in

    Note: The measurements do not take into account the top and bottom end caps or the side panels.
