Teac CD-P1160 burnt display

I just got a Teac CD-P1160 with a burnt out display. Well, that's not entirely accurate.... the only part that's burnt out is the three-LED backlighting system. The LCD works fine, you just can't read it because it's not backlit. Is this thing worth trying to fix? The only info I could find on it was here: http://www.audioweb.com/Ad/AdInfo.asp?adid=66181

    My .02........at a $149.95 I'd have to say it's not worth fixing.
