Right or wrong, I have a feeling that this is the beginning of the end of Stewart. Personally, knowing Stewart--he probably was trying to spit some dirt up on the kid, and things went bad. I don't believe he intentionally hit him, but I do believe his track rage cost a kid his life. Just my personal opinion.

The only track rage I see in that video, is from Ward. First he tries a pass he simply cannot make, and then goes into a rage because he crashed.

I don't see anything that indicates Tony was angry in the video. It almost looks like the kid was trying to hang off the wing:

That slowed down it does indeed look like that. When I first seen the crash video I was wondering just why his arms were in the air.

    Nevermind. It's a fake story.

Dunno why someone would be that horrible to fake something like that.

    They need Jesus or something.

Here's how this will play out, Stewart WILL face a civil lawsuit for wrongful death--we all know it's coming. Even if he is not found criminally liable, if he loses that civil suit, there's not a sponsor on the planet who will support him. That's why I'm saying this is the beginning of the end for Stewart.

Said I was out of this.... here I go again.

I agree that any criminal prosecution is likely to not happen, and a civil case will be settled out of court without any admission of guilt from TS, but there will be a statement something to the effect of his taking responsibility for the pain suffered by the family and just wanting to "do the right thing"...

A scholarship or some other endowment will be set up in the kid's honor and the family will get an "undisclosed amount" of which they will also donate a portion because it was never "about the money"...

Bottom line is that Tony's PR team is working around the clock to work a solution that will have Tony looking like a saint by the time this is all over.

I hope you're right John, just sad accident for all involved. Just saw a news story online that Nascar is implementing a new rule on drivers involved in an accident and car is disabled, driver should stay in vehicle til a crew comes out to check on him and tow car off, if the vehicles are unable to be driven to the pit areas. Of course in there is a risk of fire etc. driver will be allowed to get away from his car etc..Maybe others can chime in on this as more info is released.

Tony Stewart will not be charged, and it turns out Kevin Ward had enough marijuana in his system to be considered impaired.
