Interesting article on the guy that bought Paul Mawhinneys collection among many others throughout the world. He has just now come forward.

Its nice to be able to do what you want with the $$$ that you earn during your life, but this guy is building a nightmare for his estate handlers.

More importantly, what's the point of having vinyl if you're not going to listen to it at least once? I won't claim to listen to vinyl often, but I do play what I buy at least once. I seriously doubt this guy will be listening to any of that ginormous vinyl collection, which I guess makes him nothing but a hoarder.

Gonna be a **** to clean all that vinyl!
Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

I would be concerned about the probable warping due to the height/weight of the stacks.
Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. What I am tryin to say is, is that the course of your life, well its changing, and you don't even see it- Forest Bondurant

For real. I always thought collectors would store their vinyl vertically, but what would I know.
