So.... thoughts on this thing? It looks neat and looks like a simple, clean preamp.

Picked it up for $14 on a random stop between jobs.

    Its very nice. Stereophile just did a review on the 4.5 and said it was good... the 6.1 is an older model but of a higher line....

    What a great find! I never ever find anything worth a damn at gw's or sa's. Well except my Denon SACD player last year. Other than that, nothing ever worth mentioning.

    Yeah it was at my old favorite GW. I haven't found anything good there in about 2 years. They really toned down everything they got. My ForteIIs were from that GW. :)
