I just bought the Emotiva UPA-700 amplifier on Amazon. It is down to 399.00. I know that it isn't the best amp out there by far
but it should be quite a step up for me. Very excited!

I have been using my Marantz sr5001, but the center channel speaker level output doesn't work so I have to use the pre out and
send it to a Marantz mono 500thx amp. I will use the sr5001 as a pre amp once I receive the EmotivaKEF Q50 mains, M&K center, Boston Acoustics surround, Marantz SR6007 pre, Emotiva UPA-700, Pioneer DV-46AV, Samsung BD-j7500, Sunfire HRS12 subwoofer -
The Marantz has a warmer sound that anything I have heard from Emotiva, but the new line I have not heard yet. You may do ok here, but at best it would be a lateral move. The Gear... Thanks for the reply nooshinjohn. I also don't think that I am going to get much if any improvement in SQ, but i do know it will
give me more head room and i can take quite a load off my Marantz. The mains I use are 6ohm and the center channel is 4ohm
so the Marantz tends to work a little hard. Definitely more of a lateral move. On a side note, I got the WYWH sacd the other day and it sounded ooohhh soooo good in MC 5.1!KEF Q50 mains, M&K center, Boston Acoustics surround, Marantz SR6007 pre, Emotiva UPA-700, Pioneer DV-46AV, Samsung BD-j7500, Sunfire HRS12 subwoofer
