Man that is pretty!
Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

I guess that's the little brother to the first one they tried...

I'll be the odd man out and claim that a turntable should along with speakers be a separate design element from the rest of the rack. I like how Mac stuff looks, but I never warmed to their TT look.HT Optoma HD25 LV on 80" DIY Screen, Anthem MRX 300 Receiver, Pioneer Elite BDP 51FD Polk CS350LS, Polk SDA1C, Polk FX300, Polk RT55, Dual EBS Adire Shiva 320watt tuned to 17hz, ICs-DIY Twisted Prs, Speaker-Raymond Cable

Beautiful piece of equipment. It reminds me of the good ol' days when some high end turntables had super heavy polished granite platters that took several minutes to come up to speed when they were powered up. Remember when folks would do wild stuff like putting their turntables on cinder blocks or suspending them from ceilings for better isolation from vibration? Remember the infamous green felt tip pen that was used to make a ring around the outer edge of a CD to improve sound quality? Interesting.Paradigm 11seMkIII mains, w/ Zu Audio jumpers

I had a pic on my work desktop for awhile, but have switched it to a VPI Scout. Come to think of it...the Scout's been there awhile I should probably find a new picture of a TT I can't afford to salivate over2 ChannelTurntable - VPI Classic 2/Ortofon 2M BlueAmplification - Rogue Audio Cronus Magnum II, Parks Audio Budgie PhonoSpeakers - GoldenEar Triton 17.2 Home TheaterDenon AVR-X3300W; Rotel RMB-1066; Klipsch RP-280F's, Klipsch RP-450C, Polk FXi3's, Polk RC60i; Dual SVS PB 2000's; BenQ HT2050; Elite Screens 120"Man CaveTurntable - Pro-Ject 2.9 Wood/Grado GoldAmplification - Dared SL2000a, McCormack DNA 0.5 DeluxeCD: Cambridge AudioSpeakers - Wharfedale Linton 85th Anniversary; LSiM 703; SDA 2A -

The 1st Time I saw it, it really grabbed my eye and put a smile on my face I just think that if you had a all mac set-up it would be a perfect and natural fit to the system. but I still love the wood TT from Pro-ject & VPI especially the olive wood.2 ch- Polk CRS+ * Vincent SA-31MK Preamp * Vincent Sp-331 Amp * Marantz SA8005 SACD * Project Xperience Classic TT * Sumiko Blue Point #2 MC cartridge

I always love an oversized, totally over the top platter! Too bad uranium is radioactive, imagine what a weighty platter that would make?
I too am over the McIntosh look/design. I remember visiting a guy in Jersey who had just spent a good bit of coin on a Mac amp and one of their CD players. He beamed with glee then put on a couple of CDs. I thought to myself, "That kinda sounds like a $200 Sony player, pretty harsh up top". And I did not care for the amp either.
But I realize there are "tube" versions that are probably fine.
