S Series S-6 the boxes are just thin & ok. Cheesy grills (thin plastic crappy frame) & wire connects (push in type like the Monitor 4's)on back. But let me tell you this-they sound pretty darn good IMO. The tweets arent harsh or fatiguing to my ears. Mids seem to stand out nicely. Bass Passive Radiator's performance seems better (respond more/better)than any Monitor ive ever had. Very impressed in the 2 hour listening i did with them earlier. Hooked them to a Yamaha CR-620 & using them on the workbench in garage/barn. Dont hesitate to pick these up if you like Polk Monitor Series.

I am quite impressed with my S8's in that they are very pleasant to listen to, maybe even more so than the old monitor series. The build quality is lacking though.Stan

Lots of good reviews on the 6-8-10's. With the few drawl backs its easy to overcome them when you listen to them..
