I picked up Anything Anytime Anywhere Singles 1979-2002 from Bruce Cockburn. I only have hard a few of his songs in the past and saw this and figured why not! He is darn good! I know it is a "best of" but, it is definately making me more interested in his work. He has some great writing and music. Any other LP's or CD's I should check out from him?

I’ve been a fan of Bruce Cockburn for years, my favorite lp from him is “Nothing But A Burning Light”.

well - his big US commercial successes Dancing in the Dragon's Jaws and Stealing Fire are fine albums... but they're pretty much all fine.
Fwiw, I also quite like Breakfast in New Orleans, Dinner in Timbuktu, but a couple of the songs on it are a little too ambient or just too grumpy to really enjoy. The best stuff on it (e.g., the opening track and the acoustic, instrumental Deep Lake) is superb, though.
He can get a bit fatiguing when he is too long on his soapboxes... but he is a great guitarist, a talented poet/songwriter, and many of his albums sound great, too! His best stuff is really good.
I also have to put in a plug for his Christmas album, imaginatively titled Christmas :-P It is really, really excellent in every respect. No Santa Claus is Comin' to Town; just inventive and refreshing versions of a cadre of fabulous (mostly sacred) Christmas songs -- some relatively seldom heard, and one original.

Thanks to both. I will be definatley picking them up. The best of cd i found to be a great soundtrack for a long drive with the top down also. Outside of lovers in a dangerous time, I am kicking myself for not knowing more of his stuff.Klipsch The Nines, Audioquest Thunderbird Interconnect, Innuos Zen MK3 W4S recovery, Revolution Audio Labs USB & Ethernet, Border Patrol SE-I, Audioquest Niagara 5000 & Thunder, Cullen Crossover II PC's.

The man is a talented artist, great guitarist. He has his opinions and puts them out there. If you don't like the political slant in many of his songs just bypass them, there's too much quality stuff to not listen to him. My favourite of his these days is "Charity of Night".2 CH - SB Touch, CA 840C, CA 840Av2, PSB Imagine T

When you get to be my age, Pacing the Cage becomes a favorite Cockburn song, whether I am happy about that or not. ;-)
