    Preamp out goes to an amplifier, yes you can attach an amplifier to the NAD.

    NFall is right. You can BYPASS the NAD's internal amps and use the receiver as a Pre-amp with ANOTHER even more powerful amp. But in that case you are NO longer using the POWER from the NAD. You're disconnecting it!
