Anybody looking forward to seeing "Sin City" sequel?

I did not think the first one would be the lest bit interesting to me, but after catching it on tv I could not take my eyes off of it.

In a world of boring special effects that are anything but special, it was exciting to see, and the actors and story were very good also.

    Mickey Rourke is in it but I don't know how since he was electrocuted in the first one. Must be an earlier storyline. And Jessica Alba, of course. Josh Brolin takes over the role of Dwight. Looking forward to it.

    I enjoyed the first one a lot, definitely will buy the new one when it's been out for awhile and priced down to $9.99.

    Not sure what to think. Robert Rodriguez is a VERY smart guy, but he's too enamored of slick special effects more than he is of "directing". Along with Tarantino, their egos get in the way of their most recent films and their earlier films were the "better" ones! Alas, sometimes "success' is a death knell rather than a spur to greater things.

    I realize that I am in the minority here. But Robert had such GREAT promise!

    I guess this stuff is OK if you're into the Hollywood entertainment thing. But HE could be doing MORE!

    Frank Miller! Again, some good stuff and some trash! That 300 film was quite a creation, over-dramatized over the top "story". I've been to Thermopylae and the truth is a "little" different! lol
