Monitor 5a with peerless

A mint pair of Monitor 5a's with Peerless tweeters. The crossovers have been rebuilt with Sonicaps on the hi pass and Dayton on the low, Mills resistors and Cardas Quad solder. Upgraded binding posts, cabinets resealed, 6 1/2 driver magnets re-glued with Loctite, dynamat, hurricane nuts and new machine screws. The Peerless tweeters and the MW6500's have no dents, creases, or tears. The cabinet have no dents on the corners and no scratches. The grill clothes are in like new condition. The work flawlessly and the crossovers have been burned in. These are literally plug and play. I have the original boxes to go with them. The only flaw to these is the metal plates on the Peerless tweeters is not as jet black as when they were new. Because of that, I would rate these as a 9 out of 10. I would prefer local pick up as opposed to shipping. I am located near Chicago. $225.

Would really prefer local pickup. I don't think you will find another pair of 5a's in this kind of condition. -
