Saw the new movie about James Brown y'all. Not bad. Sounds good and feels good. The actor who plays James Brown is very convincing and endearing, has the dance moves down pat. Dan Aykroyd also has a not insubstantial part, "You blew the roof offa dat place!" I'm sure some will nit-pick about how the plot is somewhat disjointed or whatever, but it is what it is, and I thought it was enjoyable. Saw in the end credits that apparently Mick Jagger has something to do with the production.

Saw a "making of" special last night and, yes, Jagger was hugely influential in getting it made. Not sure what kind of credit he received (executive producer?).

One of the fascinating things I learned is JB couldn't read music. He played by ear and described the sounds he wanted to the Flames.
