Well, I had such a strong belief in Mr, Noebaek after taking delivery on a fine pair of his Montana SP3's, that when I read up on his other company "Liberty Audio" I decided to contact Peter and discuss the move into this amp. The reviews were all positive and the decision to pair this amp up with my SP3's was fairly easy. Especially when the pair of SP3's I own bear the "Liberty Audio" logo on the bottom of both towers. Peter is one of the nicest people in the business I have ever dealt with and with no hesitation can refer any of you to call him with any needs in the high end audiophile world. He is one amazing man and a down to earth person to work with. Anyway, I am excited to add this new amplifier to my bedroom t channel set up.

Johnny.
Good luck man. Glad to see you diving in with both feet and I am sure the pairing will be good.
What you thinking for speaker wires and interconnects? Forget if you've locked those down already or not."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
Blue Jean did a great job on the cables between my Onk and the amp and Analysis Plus Oval 9's for the bi wires. Thus will be a gas!"if it's not fun, it's not worth it & remember folks, "It's All About The Music"!!

Just a suggestion, but you may want to look into a used pair of Analysis interconnects when money allows. Your gear now is on another level than BJC's.HT SYSTEM-

Ok, shorts have been changed a couple of times now. I am not a good one for speaking technical when describing audio impressions, so bear with me. Can only compare the new amp with my old Parasound HCA 1200II (which although looks new is an old amp) so without having that in the first place I may have never wanted to explore this avenue?? The new amp delivers an immediate and very clear improvement over the old amp. The detail is so much clearer, the separation in sounds is crazy realistic and the bass is so much more punchy. How an amp can deliver this is beyond me, but I am so happy I made the change and this will make for some great listening. Can't comment on what other high end amps have going on, just knowing that the Liberty B2B100 is one serious beast and I am thrilled to have it paired up with my Liberty Audio/ Montana SP3's. What a team, what a team. Home run right there. Hope that was a good description?? If not, there are a few reviews of my new amp on the internet done by real audiophile type guys (of which I am not) I am just a guy that knows what he likes to hear! Pretty simple."if it's not fun, it's not worth it & remember folks, "It's All About The Music"!!

The amp looks to have some good specs, I would imagine it sounds very good indeed. I came within an eyelash of buying one of the Liberty Phono Preamps, I like the look and simplicity of their design.
N'joy! -

Thanks Mike. Man, if Peter comes up with a pre that has a remote, I'm diving!! Quack quack!! lol"if it's not fun, it's not worth it & remember folks, "It's All About The Music"!!

That is my welcome to the High Bias Class A/B worl and Peter was right when he told me I'll never look back. The temperature change from my old Parasound HCA 1200II is drastic, but so is the sound difference, so smile and stay warm is going to have to be a new and added signature for me!! Guys, if you are looking to work with one if the nicest people in the Audio world, don't hesitate to contact Peter at PNB audio. He will answer any questions you could possibly come up with and is able to supply ya with some of the very best gear on the planet.....what more could anyone want.....a rubber biscuit?? lol"if it's not fun, it's not worth it & remember folks, "It's All About The Music"!!

Aren't we all ? lol
Thing is when we listen to others with more experience than ourselves, with trusted reputations, we create shortcuts to that sound you may like saving you a bunch of money and disappointments along the way.HT SYSTEM-

Thanks Tony for sticking with me through the process and the positive takes on what I ended up doing. Your advice has been dead on and much appreciated. The green light with PBN audio (Peter) has developed into a great sounding system and Peter has been very good to me, and so have you."if it's not fun, it's not worth it & remember folks, "It's All About The Music"!!

Eh....don't thank me, Peter deserves all the kudos. Around here it's a collective effort to steer people towards good sound regardless of how thick their wallet is. All of us here are supportive of those seeking better sound, plain and simple. Glad it's working out for you and your happy.
There are tons of companies who have been around along time who make solid products most never hear of. People know the names they see at big box stores...Denon, Sony, Pioneer, Onkyo, HK, etc., and think it ends there. Just too many to bring up in every thread, but you get the jist. Yeah, some may be more expensive but their used and demo gear is certainly within reach of a lot of people and will make most have a "WTF" moment the second they listen.HT SYSTEM-

While the B2B100 has brought the SP3's to a new level, I'm still digging the use of the Onkyo TXSR 805 and think I'll keep it in the mix for a while. Other than that, the system is really all that I could hope for for a 2 channel bedroom set up. Thanks again Tony and yes you have been nothing but nice to me through the whole process, and I have had so many "WTF" moments since this set up has been gracing my bedroom. All I did was confirm your own choice of choosing Peter to guide you, which was an excellent choice in my book.
Once you hear what quality components can do, there's simply no going backwards from that point forward. Like drinking fine wine, you simply can't go back to 2 buck chuck.
I get pleasure out of seeing some discover higher end and having those WTF moments. Some who were nay sayers for awhile, some who thought it simply didn't get any better than what they currently had, yet still more who thought the laws of diminishing returns wasn't worth the investment. Once the transformation takes place, that frickin' grin on their face is like a tattoo, never leaves, permanently in place.
We hear it day in and day out around here....Giant killers, cables don't matter, amps sound the same, blah blah blah. They read an article on the internet contrary to what we preach and we all must be experiencing placebo.
Then along comes guys like you Johnny. Willing to expand your horizons, and asking questions to do so. Seeking out experienced guys like Peter, some members here, for some help and guidance, someone to help you cut through the fog of all the audio B.S. information out there. Then you take that step, sometimes blindly too, and when you turn it all on and listen....your shorts drop around your ankles. Excuse me for saying so, but I get off on that...LOL. I dig guys like you who seek a higher level of audio enjoyment.
Enjoy your new gear, now let it all settle in for awhile and simply enjoy the music.HT SYSTEM-

Looking forward to getting back home to do just that Tony and yes, you have always steered me and kept me focused. Hope that maybe someone else among our members here find out what Peter has to offer once they decide to do it up right. I am still keeping my Polk system for the family living room, but that too will eventually be PBN audio as well. The guy is simply amazing, and Tony....so are you brother! Dan, I am waiting on my amp to get back from CA, had some repairs to do and replacing the drivers in my towers due to a stupid move, I have to say Peter N. from PBN Audio has to be the most understanding guy in the business. He got my amp today and already fixed it. sending it back to me along with 4 new drivers and has been nothing but nice to me through all my dealings. I have been a pain in the but to him and he is still nice to me?? I will never look elsewhere for high end audio as long as he is in business!! As for speaker cables, I got rid of the MIT Shotgun SP 3's (great move) and have a custom set of Analysis Plus Oval 9's and the wow factor came to light when I made that switch. I have some crazy high end interconnects from Nordost between my Stream Magic 6 and the Cambridge 840e and went with Musica Perfeto cables between the amp and the pre. All of which when I get it all back up and running (yes I'm down for the moment/except for some cheap drumming headphones) will sound real nice! Looking forward to that."if it's not fun, it's not worth it & remember folks, "It's All About The Music"!!
