My knowledge of tubes and their fair retail price is poor, at best . . . please help. Cuz I wanna do some roll'n

    The Ken Rads have a good reputation.
    If you want killer 6SN7's get the Sophia's or maybe sylvanias from someone like a Brent Jessee.

    If you are going to spend that much, you might as well use a dealer with a great rep like Brent Jesse. That seems a little high to me, but I don't buy or research 6SN7 signal tubes. Ken Rad is a great "old school" tube company. If you are confident they are top notch tubes from a reputable seller, go for it.

    Avoid at all cost any coin base 6sn7(bottom link) they are not known for great sonic's and all I have tried have sound horrible in the upper registers. I have been very lucky to have bought some great tubes from eBay just must be patient and willing to walk away when the bidding goes north. As For Brent Jesse he set me up with a AWESOME set of very early 6BX7 triple mica Sylvania original box and all matched within 2% for a paltry fee.

    The guy is very trust worthy. I have bought many tubes from him.

    According to Brent Jesse in "most" applications 6bl7 and 6bx7 are acceptable substitutes for 6sn7 once again though prices are all over the place


    PS that price on the coin base is just flat well WAY TOO HIGH. I bought two different pair for less that 20.00
