I had this NuForce analog upgrade for my BDP 93 sitting around for a few months; the fine folks at Nuforce reduced the price on these since the disco of the BDP 93 ... and finally got around to popping it in to my BDP 93 today.

Easy install... took all of about 11 minutes. Dunno why I waited so long...

Going back a few weeks, i discovered how cool my LSi 15's sounded in 2 channel mode, and this helps nicely.. not that using my AV7701 in 2 channel is not good, but this tweak helps the HT rig be a little more 2 channely.. (yea I got a spell check squiggle on channely).

The soundstage is deeper and I again find myself walking up to the center channel to make sure it is off... has anyone else done this upgrade? `Are there any OPPO settings to tweak?

Just listened to Tito and Tarantula and will stick an SACD in next...

Nice little refinement.

    And then you connect the oppo analog left/right analog outs to an analog input on your pre.

    I know you said install was easy, but it appears to be a "take out the board in the Oppo and replace it with the upgraded board." Is it that simple? Couple of screws, couple of wires, no soldering type job?

    I guess the answer may not matter as it is no longer available. (Kicking myself...repeatedly...in the NAD(s).
