It is an awesome camera especially for that price and low clicks. I was just using my D300 at my son's swim meet today. The focus system is incredible.

I'd have to look. But I think I paid about $100 for the two memory cards? I might have a third one as well? Its a nice camera. I had a D200 before this and the 300 blows it away in every single way. The focus system is 52 points and lightning fast. Colors are rich, accurate and sharp.

The prices are starting to drop a little on the D800 since the release of the D810. So I am hoping to be stepping up to a D800 soon. That's the only reason for selling the 300..

I have one of these, seems like a great price to me. I haven't checked to see what they go for, but you probably won't find another that doesn't have a lot more shots on it.

I haven't got to use mine much lately, working all the time any more.

I also have a D200 and you are correct about the D300 blowing it away. I was going to sell my D200 until I found out what little it was worth on the used market. I decided to keep it as my back up body. There are many occasions where I need 2 bodies for a shoot.

I'm shooting a charity golf tournament at a local country club tomorrow and will use both bodies. I'll have a 18-70mm and a SB-800 flash unit on the D200 and a 70-200 f/2.8 with a 1.7x teleconverter on the D300. I shot this same scramble last year and needed both bodies throughout the day, indoors and out.

Yup. Had em for a little while and did an XO mod with clarity cap ESAs. Wondered if you would still recognize them. Hope to put them side by side with so.e LSIM703s for a shootout. Have a Polk banner now so I'll be able to get some pics.
