Car coasters that absorb condensation??

Anyone use car coasters that soak up the condensation? Especially the clay ones that are suppose to work so well? Here in the PNW I am getting tired of having crumpled up balls of napkins all over the front seat and water spots all over my pants and shirt. Cut a piece of cork to fit the cupholder and while it fit great there was no absorption. Thoughts??

I've got one and no problems. I have one at my desk at work as well thats a 2x2 square. Been using it for darn near 5+ years with no problem.

My parents got my wife and I each one made specifically for carholders. Her's says "Hers" mine says "His".

I'd snag a couple. Work good no drawbacks.

We have some. Every once in a while it helps to put them in the oven to dry them out. The ones we have stop absorbing moisture after awhile and that restores them so to speak.

Get the ones with artwork that doesn't interfere with absorption.

Heck, I didn't even know car coasters existed. Though at 10 bucks seems steep for a round piece of something that costs probably under a buck to make.

Didnt even look at that. My mom bought it as a stocking stuffer for me, so I am guessing it was like 5 bucks at some store somewhere.

More of wanted to show what material it was made from....

I'm not particularly against greed or mark ups....within reason. Unfortunately "reason" has become extinct.

So do any of these coasters actually work in keeping your cup holder dry ? Or is this more marketing snake oil ? Next thing ya know you guys will be putting plastic covers on your auto seats like Grandma had on her couches.

It works, I drink cold Diet MD cans in my car daily, it sweats bad, no moisture in my cup holder.
