FOR SALE: One Pre-owned Conrad Johnson MF-2300 Solid State Stereo Power Amplifier.

This is a 2-channel amplifier, Solid State in design, with circuits designed to mimic, to some extent, the sound that Conrad Johnson’s tube amps are known for.
This amplifier has an extremely round, full bass, great liquidity through the midrange, and silky highs…just like they said it would have.

The amp is rated for 240 Watts per channel into 8-Ohms and THRIVES on low impedance loads. Expect nearly 400 Watts per channel into 4-Ohms.
This amp has MASSIVE heatsinking for an amp of this power, ensuring that the transistors run cool, which means they will have a longer lifespan.

The speaker terminals are very solid, as are the input jacks.
The amp is a beast, as solid as a rock.
I find it unusually dynamic and with very good sound-staging, particularly in terms of depth-of-field.

It is in VERY nice shape and measures about 19 x 6 x 17 inches.

I am the second owner, bought from an audio dealer who took it in as a trade. The dealer's claim to me was that the owner expressed that the amp was unmolested and I have not done anything other than poppin the hood and taking a look. The amp is about 55 lbs
