Has that got a P mount cartridge on it? They just plug in, unlike a standard 1/2" mount that secures with two vertical screws, although P mounts may have a horizontal screw/nut to secure cart in arm. Check out a place like LPGear or Needle Doctor for cartridge. Even Amazon.
1/2" mount top, P mount bottom.

The P mount page at ND. You have from lower to higher quality with different stylus options.

If you want to stay real inexpensive, you can find an Audio-Technica AT90CD for around $20.Salk SoundScape 8's * Audio Research Reference 3 * Bottlehead Eros Phono * Park's Audio Budgie SUT * Krell KSA-250 * Harmonic Technology Pro 9+ * Signature Series Sonore Music Server w/Deux PS * Roon * Gustard R26 DAC / Singxer SU-6 DDC * Heavy Plinth Lenco L75 Idler Drive * AA MG-1 Linear Air Bearing Arm * AT33PTG/II & Denon 103R * Richard Gray 600S * NHT B-12d subs * GIK Acoustic Treatments * Sennheiser HD650 * -

Options limited with the p mount, but is easy to plug and play. Go with the cheap AT mentioned above first to make sure table is working right and then you can upgrade to a better cartridge. I think the Grado Blue is probably as far as I'd go quality and price wise for any p mount turntable. ^^^ ordered one 37.XX earlier. Cant wait to get it & see if it works properly. Not exactly sure why it wasnt there. Original owner sold me receiver-cd player-turntable for 20.00 so i didnt get hurt too bad. It is new in the box-although it had been opened by original owner. Even had cardboard/felt lining was all still in place. Maybe it was-buy the unit & select a cart when you bought it ? I do know in the manual it states it is not installed & i had to remove all those little plastic clips & guards off tone arm.. I did notice the speed is way too fast. Not sure if that is because it does it AUTO. Got to get more read on. Thanks all. I will update once i get the cart ( week or so ? )..

There are some decent Ortofon Cartridges for P-mounts. I run one myself on a table with good results, but it's not a linear tracking table.
Here's a P-mount for a Linear table that looks good. It should be child's play to replace these.
It is also my understanding that Technics, before it left its TT days behind, actually considered the P-mount the FUTURE in TTs. And was getting ready to go all in on P-mounts assuming that cartridge makers would follow suit and start producing Higher End cartridges for such tables because they were HASSLE free. No need to mess with tone arm weights, tracking, anti-skating, protractors, and any number of things that make TT aficionados swoon and faint! lol
