Snagged one of these and did the setup...I made a couple of mistakes but they were easily fixable... I had an old Harmony Remote one of the originals don't remember the model but i ended up not using it much b/c it was all IR and if it missed turning something on/off it would get all out of sync and piss me off.

This unit is far more sophisticated and doesn't F up like he old one did and works very intuitively. More to follow.

What Logitech has done is implemented features from Pro AV market from companies like RTI which I have used for years and brought them to the consumer market.

Companies like RTI supply RF through an RF receiver. From the RF receiver you plug IR links into RTI RF receiver and attached to device i.e. TVs, Blu-Ray etc

    My remote is a T2-C

This is what I have behind my cabinet, remote works all over my property. Downfall it the remote has to be programmed via software and the software is around $460 to dealers only when I last checked, but I have access. The system will expand to control lighting, curtains etc. Been working flawlessly for 5yrs.
