    That is pretty cool. I wonder how it sounds. You would think the built in sub would affect the turntable a bit.

    Dude that Zu Modern console looks cool as hell, for the price i'm sure you could get better sound but i'd definitely rock one.

    Interesting. I had one of those JVC-10 eq's in my much younger days. It may have been the first commercially available home outboard eq. $100 in 1974. I never figured why they called it SEA-10 when it only had 5 bands (7 if you count that you could extend the very bottom and very top another octave or so with push-buttons) and manipulating each band effected both stereo channels.

    You have to go back to the 50s and 60s and realize that nearly all stereos were built in the same console cabinet with woofers right next to the turntables. We didn't start separating them as a rule until the next decade. A good turntable design can sit with an attached cabinet with little affect.

    Me too! I betcha that things sounds pretty f*****g good! ZU full range drivers combined with the Descent sub and magnetically levitating isolation between the sub section and the rest of the components. That's just cool! Wish I had to coin.......
