Think I'm on Rosberg. I'm biased, however, as I don't much like Hamilton. He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and is not used to having have to fight for it. He's a good driver, but not a brilliant one - the team seem to be giving them equal cars, which I don't think is the case with Kimi, for instance, and so he doesn't have an advantage in that direction. Rosberg didn't exactly have a a hard time getting in to it, given who his dad was, but seems to me to have more natural talent, spirit and humility. Loved his dad - he either won or broke the car. Emotionally strange for me, as I am English and not rooting for the Brit.

Rosberg was the one raised in Monaco, not Hamilton.

He is tied for 5th for all time wins.

Yes it was Rosberg that had the silver spoon treatment.I'm not a Hamilton fan but think he is more agressive thus may have a bit more pace than Nico. Rosberg is very consistant and conserves the car/tires better. As for skill I believe Alonso is the best of the curernt bunch but since this is only a one team battle I'm hoping for Rosberg.

Actually, Rosberg and Hamilton have very similar career histories.

Personally, I prefer Hamilton and anyone who is making Vettel's **** all itchy and irritated.

You're right, wrong choice of words on my part. Maybe "stage managed" would be more what I was getting at. I just think Hamilton has an arrogance about him I don't like. Totally irrational on my part, as I don't know him, never met him and it may just be his interview technique.

Total wins is a misleading statistic nowadays really - in recent years it's more about the cars, and Rosberg did not walk straight into the top team at the time like LH did.

He's emotional, wears them on his sleeve and comes off as a dick at times. Personally, he could lose the studs and get a hat that's not 2 sizes too big for his head, but the guy can drive and at the end of the day, that's what counts.

The radio whines about Alonso made me feel all warm and fuzzy. Hehe.

There was a race last year that he was winning handily, came up on a back marker and started whining like a 2 year, "make him get out of the way, make him get out of the way" because the guy wasn't moving over fast enough. It was an embarrassment for him, the team and the sport. He lost a lot of respect and fans over that one.

On a different tack about radio messages - Kimi's the star of the F1 message world. What was that one earlier this season about you've got to pass the guy in front of you, and he said something like "What do you think I'm trying to do?" Can't remember the exact words. And the one years ago at Ferrari, when they siad "Kimi, come in for tires next lap, and he said "No, I don't think so". Gotta love the guy - F1, rallying, NASCAR trucks, F1.

Maybe whiney Seb should go out on the town with Kimi one night, and really have something to whine about the moning after.

Really? You want to go there?

The ****tel scenario was much different.

With Rosberg v. Hamilton, Nico was never even under a second behind Lewis. And even Niki Lauda and Wolfe both agree that the team was caught up in the heat of the moment and made a bad call telling Lewis to let Nico through when Lewis would have had to slow down substantially to let Nico catch up. Lewis even said on the radio, if he can get close enough, I will let him through.
I am so sick of the Nico fanboys crying about Lewis being mean to wittle ol Nico.

It's like ****tel crying about Alonso not letting him through...it's racing, cupcake. And in the case of Rosberg v. Hamilton, the first person you want to beat will always be your teammate.

    Team orders. Laughable.

Man, if Hamilton can quit having such bad luck in qualifying, he will take it. That was an amazing piece of racing last weekend. Pit row start to 3rd! Almost the same in Germany too. Nico really fell flat this past race during the middle of the race. He should have never given up the lead.
For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...

With Ham only 11 points out of first place the next race will really be one to watch.

As long as nothing else blows up and he doesn't catch on fire.

Wonder why it's always Hamilton's car that falls apart / catches fire?
