Turntable Stand

Ok I just ordered one of these for my Amp, will one one of these work for a turntable? I want to keep my entertainment center un cluttered, in this order bottom My AVR, Next Shelf Panamax, next Oppo 105, top shelf Center channel tv wall mounted right above center. To the left on amp stand on floor 3 channel amp to the right on floor on another sanus stand with turntable. Everything will be organizedand look pretty cool, is it ok to put a Turntable on one of these stands on the floor? If not can someone recommend a turntable stand?

    I'm not sure but the stand won't work with Emotiva amps.

    Not sure about that, but it will accommodate my 5503 just like the one pictured however I'm sure an Emotiva would rest just as well on that stand, just wondering how another one would be for a turntable.

    I have my TT on something like that out of necessity but I don't know if I recommend it.
    I was going to say Crown amps but I didn't want to crash the site.

    I think if you have any DIY skills you'd be better served with a sand box

    I use 80lb solid Granite slabs, 12"x18"x3" as my Amp stands..

    Here is a beck of an idea I found over at Steve Hoffman's just need to paint it black, anyone know where to get some black paint? Seriously heavy and good isolation I should try this out!

    It would certainly be cheap enough. What the heck give a try and let everyone know what you think.

    I have my VPI Scout on a Sanus stand.I use 4 Isolation blocks and a 3 in thick maple block that it sits on.
    Been very good to me.
