Power Amp Stands

Looking for a place to buy a Amp Stand an inexpensive one at that, say one around 200 bucks if something exits in that price range. I was wondering if cutting a sheet of plywood the size of the amp would work and what to use for isolation feet. Leads anyone?

    It appears that that black sanus is the way to go you got a 5503 sitting on yours the picture of the one in the display has a 5503 on it a d that's what I'm looking to put my 5503 on. Let me ask you this does it have spikes? I put down a floating floor system it's tile on a plastic frame carpeted it's raised off the concrete floor an inch with that weight spikes would go through it unless I put hockey pucks under the spikes what do you think?

    I don't have one yet! I just meant in the picture on there web site it looked like it was the 5503 in the pic. as I knew you & I both had the 5503 amp.

    just check the manual and it does have spikes & plastic feet included.

    But I think your right about the combination of the amps weight & the spikes could be a problem for you. you may want these little disc under the spikes. or just use the other feet which I think are height adjustable.

    I have used the Sanus Euro stands for about 8 years now and will be ordering a couple more to go on either side for amp stands. They are rugged, well built and easy to clean with a nice matte black surface that resists marring too. They have nice discs on the rails to protect floors.
