Anyone ever hear of a brand of Speakers called IONIC?

These are trapezoidal shaped 2 way speakers. The model is Ionic 1. Im going to grab them just for the heck of it, curious if anyone had any info about them?

    Never heard of them. But they look interesting. And how BAD could they be. The guy running them has NICE taste in vintage receivers. That's one nice looking Yamaha CR-? there!

    They appear to have been affiliated with Altec Lansing from my quick look at Google. This particular pair was designed by the legendary home-plate umpire Doug Harvey...

    I have found some mention of "Iconic" which was related to altec. Thats what originally got me excited. These are "Ionic" The receiver was a cr420, I snagged it too.

    Apparently they were sold by "psycho-acoustics inc" from seattle washington

    If that were a "newer" speaker, Psycho-Acoustics would be a perfect name for a white van company!

    As it is, it almost looks a little DIY to me. Maybe this was a small, local operation!

    I can't believe mhardy hasn't come in on this?

    I'm from the Seattle area and never heard of Psycho-Acoustics. Way back in the day I always wanted a pair of the local Speakerlab Super Sevens though!
