Hi, some time ago, thanks to your advice, I purchased a pair of Polk Rtia3, amplified by a yamaha a-s500. I think it's time to add a subwoofer, which you believe will match better with Rtia3?

Thank you

Lot's of questions before we can make a recommendation. For music or movies (if both %)? Room size? Openings into other rooms? Listening habits? And most importantly BUDGET??

It's only for music, the room is about 16 m^2. I don't have a fixed budget, under € 300 would be fine but i can wait and spend something more, but I want to avoid taking something of quality too high / low compared to Rtia3. In short, I'm looking for a subwoofer good enough not to degrade their sound but not exaggerated compared with those speakers

For music I'd go with a sealed design. Can you convert your budget to $$?

Yeah, country. Just asking because SVS has some sealed subs in their clearance center but I'm not sure if they ship overseas.

If I have understood correctly they ship overseas but shipping would be very expensive due to import taxes.
There is a dealer in Italy: http://svsound.it/
But I see that prices are quite high, however, is there a specific model that you advise me of this or another brand?

Among the subwoofer recommended by SVS the cheapest is the SB-2000, and costs $ 700. But it's worth taking a subwoofer that costs $ 700 and match it to Rtia3?

I run dual subs Polk Psw111s with RTIA5' s and RTIA3's s and I'am quite happy with them, that being said I would love to have one of those subs that SVS recommends, for your A3's.

    I would say yes.

I had the RTiA3s and was using a sealed subwoofer design that cost close to $600 US and it was definitely worth it.

A good musical sub will anchor the whole soundstage making it more spacious, the low freq performance will match nicely with the extended clear highs of the RTiA3.

Okay, perfect, thank you all for the advice, I will wait and consider the SVS SB-2000 or a NHT sub now that I know it's worth it :)
