Hello everyone, I have stumbled onto a piano black micropro DSW4000 and its near mint and can pickup cheap. I was hoping to hear thoughts on performance for $200.

The only negatives I have heard regarding the DSW MP's is that they were over priced. At $200 that does not seem to be an issue. I use 2 MP 3K's in my HT and they rock the house. They do well with music too.

Thanks for the feedback. I believe I will make the purchase tonight. I does appear to be mint!Home Theater: LG 60PB450; Pioneer Elite SC55; RT2000P; RT55P; CS400p; FX500; SVS PB12-Plus/2; PS3 360GB

If you don't buy it at that price point, I will punch you in the junk! Amazing price for a great sub with built in room correction. I have it's little brother, the 2000 and doubt I will ever get rid of it because of how awesome it is (and I picked it up for a similarly insane price)."Some people find it easier to be conceited rather than correct."

OK, update. I picked it up today, no remote, setup mic or even a power cord. I have powers cords so no biggie. Initial test shows it works, and works hard. I have noticed that the Polk logo on the bottom front lights up blue, but it keeps fading in and out. Is this normal, am I missing something or is it a malfunction? Overall, the box and drivers look perfect.Home Theater: LG 60PB450; Pioneer Elite SC55; RT2000P; RT55P; CS400p; FX500; SVS PB12-Plus/2; PS3 360GB

The blue light is suppose to flash when you change the settings with the remote. If it's flashing all the time I'd say there is a problem.Political Correctness'.........defined

I don't have the remote, the guy is in the military and got shipped out and his mom is selling the stuff for him. I didn't realize but when I got there to pick it up was just the sub, not even a power cord. So whatever is making the blue light come and go its definitely not the remote. It doesn't appear to be flashing a message or anything, just fades in and out very randomly.Home Theater: LG 60PB450; Pioneer Elite SC55; RT2000P; RT55P; CS400p; FX500; SVS PB12-Plus/2; PS3 360GB

But it appears to work. The bass is very solid and the driver sounds good. Just wanting to make sure before I contacted the seller to return it.Home Theater: LG 60PB450; Pioneer Elite SC55; RT2000P; RT55P; CS400p; FX500; SVS PB12-Plus/2; PS3 360GB

I will give Polk a call tomorrow and see what they have. I am glad to hear the positive feedback as I do want to keep and now for sure will. I really do appreciate everybody's help on the matter. And thank DSkip for the link to the manual. I will read it and see if I can make a pattern out of the light. Hopefully its nothing or something simple.Home Theater: LG 60PB450; Pioneer Elite SC55; RT2000P; RT55P; CS400p; FX500; SVS PB12-Plus/2; PS3 360GB

Well I contacted the service department at Polk, they still have the remote, and alot cheaper than I was expecting. So I am getting it ordered today. As for the blue light on the front, It only flashed for a short time after I plugged it in after being idle and unplugged for months, and it seems to be ok. It doesn't flash anymore and does not seem to have any issues, plays as long as I want with no amp or driver issues. Once the remote gets here I will get it calibrated to the room and hopefully enjoy for a long time. I would recommend this model to anyone, as it seems to do almost what the PB12+2 SVS does.Home Theater: LG 60PB450; Pioneer Elite SC55; RT2000P; RT55P; CS400p; FX500; SVS PB12-Plus/2; PS3 360GB

I received the remote and kept tweaking until I got everything tuned. All of the LED issues have gone away, everything seems to work as intended. Thanks again DSkip, I would have returned it to the seller, I didn't realize the remote was needed to get it working correctly. I am pleased with the performance now. And thanks to everyone for piping up and kick me in the right direction.Home Theater: LG 60PB450; Pioneer Elite SC55; RT2000P; RT55P; CS400p; FX500; SVS PB12-Plus/2; PS3 360GB
