Kitchen Remodel-Advice?

Well a crew is at my house at this movement gutting my kitchen. I am a little nervous! Y'all got any advice for things I should keep an eye out for as they proceed?

    I have a very trusted contractor/friend who gutted my bathroom & remodeled it. and soon I'll have him in my kitchen also.

    I give him extra keys and disappear. but I living in another house for now!

    Have to agree there. But for us it was not the Kitchen but the bathroom. My god, how many people does it take to renovate a smallish 7' by 9' or 10' space! TOO MANY! And after all that work and days, these morons did not correctly estimate the space for the toilet, so it took 2 or three days to find a toilet that would actually FIT into the space they created. And the COST, get-out-a-here!

    So, I assume you have an estimate on costs? Keep an EYE on those and on the work and the TIME it takes as well.

    Hope all goes well and your guys know what they're doing and are relatively honest!

    Best advice for using any contractor even your brother in law.... Do not pay them until they are done...
