Question on Rotel RC 990 and RC 995 preamps

Hi, Is there any real sonic difference between the Rotel RC 995 and RC 990 preamps?? I know the diferences feature/remote wise and they are more alike then different. I have heard the 990 has a better power supply but it would sure be nice to hear from someone who has owned and compared them. Had them at different times with different cables so not really sure.Thanks
