So i just replaced my mains, now im looking to replace my Sunfire TGP2, was looking at a Marantz 7701. Thoughts? Im looking for something with lots of HDMI and Optical options, possibly even Networking options, Gonna be running a lot through it, Hi res audio/Movies/Gaming consoles/sonos etc. Im sure more to come. I like tech so.

    I love my 7705.Don't know about the 7701.

    I have 7701 and it is solid... It has all the connections you would ever need and integrates everything in my HT. Aesthetically looks great in the rack too.

    I have the big brother 8801. I love it and so far it's been flawless. One of the best advancements I've made to my system for both music and movies. With proper set-up, Audyssey XT32 and Sub Eq work great.
