Immediately trashed it, looked pretty good, but i knew i had no order being fulfilled, and there were many addressees with similar email addresses this had been sent to.

I recently got a similar email (not from Amazon though) that thanked me for my $236.xx order that I recently placed. Huh?
The give-away for me that it was bogus was a .zip file attached that they advised you click to view the order itself. I can only imagine
what type of virus was going to start installing itself had I done that...So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

...i posted here 2 weeks ago when i got the same email with attachment. Also going around is the phone call from India stating there is something wrong with your computer. They want to take control of it to diagnose. I just use an airhorn into phone. Targeting over 60 crowd !!! Got 3 calls in a week.

Well let's see. Most of the great PC revolutions were the product of guys who are either almost 60 or, in Wozniak's case, already over 60. So that old rule doesn't apply anymore. Those "refuse to be left behind boomers" are a real pain, aren't they? lol
