Looking at these speakers, $150 for 4 of them, no model# on them though. Would be using for HT. Would I be happy with performance? I'm new to HT so trying to build up my system, my front mains are just some old technics 2ways. Thanks

Those look to be an S6 or maybe an S8 model. They are older but I had a set of each and for what they are they sound good. I will say about 5 years ago I picked up the S8 and S6 models for $60, I think $150 may be a tad high. I would personally either negotiate them down a bit or wait for a better deal. Good luck with your future HT!

    Welcome to Club Polk, 1toad!

If they're in very nice shape, I think you could be very happy with them in a smallish room HT setup. I had a pair of S4s that were minty a while back and they were surprisingly great sounding. However, the concern I have is that I think the drivers on those models are pretty hard to find if/when you blow one, especially if they are the S8 models with the 7-1/2" drivers. They weren't one of Polk's better sellers so there just aren't that many of them out there and Polk doesn't make new replacement drivers for them anymore.
