I know, I know, I caved in to the 3D craze. Going through buyer's remorse right now.

Anyway, I would be interested to hear what some of your favorite titles are for those who have a 3D TV. I just got the IMAX blu-ray called, "Under the Sea." I have to say the 3D effect is very impressive. Looking for more titles like that. I've also watched Jurassic Park and The Avengers and they both looked good, but not as good as the IMAX offering.

    Hey Bill

Some of the animated movies are pretty good, really thought TinTin in 3d was visually stunning & the story was good. like the ending of the new 1st Spiderman movie, they way he came out of the screen.

One of the best is sammys adventures for the 3D effect. Also check out Vudu for 3D titles, Hugo is just outstanding as the 3D is so very natural.

Hugo is a great__ little movie,(I saw it in 2D and have heard the 3D is awesome). Avatar in 3D is supposed to be really done well. Life of Pi was an excellent 3D movie. Go to Bluray.com for reviews on 3D movies to see what 3D movies actually have WOW factor.

Some 3D movies are sort of over-the-top, with swords poking out of the screen and the like. I personally like the more transparent 3D movies where you're just drawn in. Prometheus in 3D was in the latter category for sure - I've watched it 3 or 4 times so far.

Gravity is great in 3D, Avatar, me and my grandsons favorite although cheesy but good effects is Spiders (The City Is Crawling ) don't expect much as plot and acting but seeing those spiders crawling around in 3D gets to you. But Gravity is great in 3D plus Sandra Bullock is in it :)

Just watched "Finding Nemo" in Bluray 3D. This movie blew us away and I'll probably use it for my 3D reference until something better comes along. The Imax 3D movies are supposed to be good as well. Thanks for the suggestions. Will most likely pick up Avatar sometime soon.

Went and saw Transformers Age of Extinction in XD/3D yesterday and I am fairly certain a lot of folks are going to be surprised at how well executed the 3D was. Pretty seamless. Can't wait to see how it turns out on BD.
