Price Check on Aisle 9 . . . BAT VK-1000 monos

It's always easier posting/re-writing the 2nd/3rd time, right?

Can Anybody help me on the current used price of TWO BAT VK-1000 monos (one stereo set, 2 amps total). Robs VK-150SEs were a wet dram, and too rich for my budget. Somebody got a smok'n deal!

I've been toying with all the options (in my price range) and quite frankly, there are too many choices and not enough locally to audition

The seller claims these were only used at a CES show and then sent back to BAT to be checked-out. Then some high level BAT employee delivered amps to seller. Then never used/opened due to illness

Thoughts?

    I think new retail was around 6 g's. So 4-5 g's is about ball park.

    You are correct-A-Mundo, MSRP was 6K each . . . Seller is asking 5 Large for the pair, me thinks there's a little wiggle room. My vibe on him is that he speaks the truth.
