i read the amp I have was bench tested at 147 wpc?dont know but it puts the h/k to shame(vintage power is the only way to go unless you don't have a budget) these polks really sound great now, still have the poly problem(not nearly as bad) but I don't think there to bad,i heard one of the mw pop at a stout volume, someone said 90 watts was tough on them so im figuring there right

Sigh......you have much to learn Grasshopper.

I'm almost certain, now, that you'd be better served by a pair of Cerwin Vegas.

yes the CV,s are very efficient but ide rather have some klipsh, and a new Camaro instead of this old firebird as long as im wishing, but the spkrs I have here now my brother designed from parts express software,i had a crown pro xti 1000 for awhile,it had clip lights and it was just to much and sound quality imo left a lot to be desired for home use,but some bigger polks would make me happy im sure.

SIGH,is there some aggravation in the sigh?and yes I have a lot to learn, but im figuring Matthew POLK himself would say the same thing,I had no idea how complex audio was till the last 5yrs or so,my brother has brought me a long way, been jamming since I was a boy,one thing ive learned is don't spend $300 on a receiver!!!ill buy an old school amp next round. have a great day and thank you all.
