Totem Rainmakers in Mahogany w/ stands

I've got a pair of Totem Rainmakers up for sale in very good condition. These are the Mahogany color and look gorgeous. I recently did a speaker shootout and these ended up being my overall favorite of the bunch for music. The Rainmakers sound fantastic on good gear, ever review I've seen online is positive. The general consensus is that they sound way bigger than they look, are a VERY musical speaker and have imaging to die for. While they have surprisingly good bass for their size, they're not gonna shake your house.
I'd like to get $650 for these and would like to keep this a local sale for now. I have the original box but it's a little beat up and to ship these I'd likely want to get another box so I'm gonna try the local route first. To help a local sale, I'm throwing in the stands I'm using with them as well, linked below. I don't really have a good way to ship the stands so if I decide to ship these the stand won't be included.

Speaker Shootout Summary
It came down to these and my Magnepan 1.6QR and although the Maggies were better for some music, I prefer the Totem overall as it handles more types of music better. The Rainmakers have more impact, better dynamics, and are a tad more forgiving than the Magies and so they handle more of my music collection better. That is what I was looking for when I did the shootout and the Totam gave me what I wanted. I ended up keeping the Maggies though, for a couple reasons:
- I'm about to do a full crossover upgrade on those and replace the stands as well, I've already done a couple other mods as well and feel a personal 'connection' with the Maggies that I did not anticipate when I started all this. I have a feeling they are gonna be with me until one of us dies...
- In my room the Totems would need a center channel to round out the front stage for movies and the Maggies do not, the center adds a layer of complexity to a system I'm trying to simplify
I've got a couple photos, they are not quite as red as some of the pictures indicate, it's a very nice dark red color.

Definitely a nice set of speakers. Just the wrong timing for me, too many expenses come our way in the summer months.
GLWTS!

I have the Skiing Ninja mods on my 1.6's, and in a direct comparison to the 1.7's, I'd say I got about 95% there. Do your research well there are some crappy upgrades out there.
IMHO, I never cared for Maggie's as an HT setup. But that's me. Glad you had the opportunity to experience the Rainmakers.Review Site_ (((AudioPursuit)))

No, I don't consider the Maggies great home theater speakers and in a typical HT setup the Rainmakers with a center and sub sound better, I'm not really all that into HT though and don't watch a lot of movies really, and for us without a center and sub the Maggies do better with the TV and movies we do watch, they just do better with vocals spread across the front stage in my room. In a real HT setup I'd want a better setup though.
