Hi folks, I want to build a sound system for my coffee shop. I'm planning to buy 6 pairs for the Polk RC80i for my system. My questions are:

1. Can I hook them up to a 70v mixer amplifier for commercial purposes? Because I'm not sure that Polk RC80i has 70v transformer or not.

2. If I can use 70v mixer amplifier, which brand and model should I use?

Thank you, please help!

    Hello,
I'm afraid the Polk speakers are not compatible with a 70V system, to make them work you would need to place a matching transformer with each speaker.
    Regards, Ken

Hi Ken, thanks for reply. If I still want to use 4 pairs of RC80i. Can I hook them up to an AV receiver with front, rear and center channel?

NO, each speaker needs it's own channel, 4 pairs means you need 8 channels. Niles makes decent audio distribution amplifiers for such applications. Google "audio distribution amplifiers" and you should get a lot to look at.
