I never hooked up a volume control for my outdoor speakers so I had to run inside to adjust the volume on my integrated amp when needed. Well, I just replaced my iPod as my outdoor source with a Sonos player. I can now bring my iPad outside (which I use as the controller for Sonos and Spotify) and control the volume that way. Never realized I could control the volume that way but I am sure happy I stumbled upon this. Its the little things in life!

Cool, Sonos owner myself and that little sucker is certainly versatile. Use it also to control volume and of course run Rhapsody and my downloaded music out to the deck. Great for parties....which lately seems like I'm having one after another for some reason.
